Terms and conditions of the lnternational Conference Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 organized online from 15.06.2024 to 16.06.2024 by Bio-Top and Gambrinus of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
l. General provisions
1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to the international Conference “Agrobiotechnology for Better Future”, organized online between 15.06 – 16.06.2024 by the Bio-Top Scientific Circle and the Gambrinus Scientific Circle, both operating at the Faculty of Chemistry of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, hereinafter referred to as “organizers”.
2. The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to ensure the safety of the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference by defining the rules of behavior of people present at the event and their use of the area where it is organized.
3. The topics of Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference are sustainable development, chemistry, biotechnology and related fields.
4. The status of a participant is granted to all professors invited to the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference participating in the event as speakers.
5. Participants of the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference receive a certificate of participation in the event.
6. The official website for registration of Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference participants is ” https://agrobiotechnology.pwr.edu.pl/”.
7. The Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference will include poster sessions and oral presentations.
8. The organizers have the right to refuse participation at the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference to persons who are apparently drunk or under the influence of narcotic drugs, as well as violating the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Participation in the event is tantamount to acceptance by the participant of these regulations. The participant of the event hereby acknowledges that in case of non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions, he/ she/ they will be deprived of the right to participate in the event.
Il. Organizational and order rules at the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference
1. During the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference, all participants of the event are prohibited from consuming alcohol or other narcotic substances; it is also recalled that the participants are prohibited from smoking cigarettes (including e-cigarettes).
2. At Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024, it is prohibited to sell, advertise, acquire or hold fundraisers.
3. It is forbidden to post and display on the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference banners containing vulgar content or inciting hatred, aggression, etc.
lll. Rights and obligations of Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference participants
1. Participants register through the service ” https://agrobiotechnology.pwr.edu.pl/”, information about the internet address for registration will also be available on the official social media accounts of the Bio-Top Scientific Circle and the Gambrinus Scientific Circle (Facebook: “Koło Naukowe Studentów Biotechnologii “Bio-Top” Politechnika Wrocławska”, “Koło Naukowe Gambrinus”, Instagram: “@knsb_bio_top”, “@kngambrinus”). After submitting the registration forms and abstracts of speeches, applications accepted by the organizers will provide the status of participants, who will take part in Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference.
2. Incomplete application forms and forms containing summaries not related to the topic of the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference will not be considered by the organizers of the event.
3. Depending on the number of applications the organizers reserve the right to ask the participant to switch the presentation form from oral to a poster (according to the order of the participant’s registration).
4. The organizers are not responsible for inappropriate behavior of participants. About gross acts: vandalism, deprivation of dignity, injury to good name, misdemeanors threatening the safety of other participants or purposeful actions to the detriment of another participant or organizers, authorities will be informed, and in justified cases the police will be notified.
5. By registering, participants agree to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference.
6. The organizers and media patrons may record the course of the event for documentary or advertising purposes. The organizers or persons authorized by them may use such a recording or its fragment, including the image of a participant or other person present at the event, without time and territorial restrictions, without having to pay remuneration for the use of the image specified in Article 50 of the act of 4 February 1994 on copyright and related rights (i.e. Journal of Laws of late. Ed.). Participants or persons present at the event agree to the preservation and dissemination of their image, recorded during the event. A person who does not express such consent is obliged to inform about this fact at agro.biotechnology.f.b.f@gmail.com, no later than 2 days before the start of the event.
7. Each participant of the event is obliged to strictly follow the instructions of the organizers, and event coordinators and accept these Terms and Conditions.
8. Each participant of the event is obliged to read these rules of Agrobiotechnology for Better Future 2024 conference.
9. The organizers do not take responsibility for the consequences of actions resulting from noncompliance with the above provisions and orders of the organizers.
IV. Final provisions
1. The organizers reserve the right to change these regulations.
2. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event or change the form and / or date, if it results from reasons beyond their control.
3. Resolving any disputes and making decisions that are not covered by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the right to interpret all provisions of these Terms and Conditions, is exclusively for the organizers.
4. ln matters not regulated by these regulations, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
